Virtual via Zoom

Sustainable design in the context of visual, communication, and UX design refers to integrating ecological and social sustainability principles into the design process. Ideally this approach aims to minimize any adverse environmental impacts while maximizing positive social impacts through thoughtful design choices.

This transformative mindset challenges us to rethink our design approach to creation and innovation. It focuses on regeneration and social good as core elements of the design process, aligning environmental stewardship with economic viability and social responsibility to create a more regenerative, resilient, and equitable future. But how can designers who work in graphic design, communications, UX, and digital design integrate this discipline into their workflow?

Join us at DesignMeets to explore this subject and listen to some experts in the field of design who are applying this approach in their practice. This virtual event will help us understand why sustainable design is crucial to the future of design practice and how to creatively integrate this thinking into your design processes.

Whether considering a career pivot into sustainable design or seeking to make a significant impact in the sustainability sector, this event offers invaluable insights on where to look, what to consider, and how to take action. Discover how sustainable design can empower organizations to distinguish themselves by fostering responsible and efficient practices, particularly in fields where design significantly influences user experiences and services.
